Once you’ve finished building your app, you can publish it live on STQRY Guide so your audience can access it. Follow the steps below to review, preview, and publish your content.

Publishing Your App for the First Time

When your app is ready to go live, contact your assigned Customer Success Manager. We’ll review your content with you and help link your project to the STQRY Guide platform.

On STQRY Guide, your app’s landing page will appear as a Story Screen

Updating Your App After It’s Live

After your app is live, you can continue editing and previewing updates before publishing them.

To preview:

  1. Link your updated content to the app. This means adding new or edited pieces of content to your existing app structure. For step-by-step instructions, please refer to the guide linked here.
  2. Open the app in the STQRY Preview App to review your changes.

Information about downloading the STQRY Preview App can be found on your Project Overview page.

When you’re satisfied with your edits:

Contact your Account Admin to publish the updated content.Screenshot highlighting the “Publish” button.
The Admin should open the Project Overview page and click “Publish.” The status will update from Pending to Processing and finally to Complete, indicating when the publishing is finished.

How to View Updates in the App

To see the updates immediately in the app, go to Profile tab → Settings → Select "Check for updated content".

If your app doesn’t have the Favorites or Badges feature enabled, you’ll see a Settings tab instead of Profile.

If you don’t manually refresh, the app will automatically update with the new content within 24–36 hours when connected to the internet.

Publishing usually takes 1–2 minutes, but large projects or busy times can take up to 30 minutes.

Only Account Admins can publish updates — other users will see a note reminding them to contact an Admin when they’re ready to go live.
If you have a Portal app, the Admin on the parent account should publish the app after linking the content to it. Once the content has been successfully linked, any future updates made within a child account can be published directly by the Admin of that child account — there’s no need to contact the parent account again.
